For companies experiencing these difficulties, Opterus has updated its Store Ops-Center retail communication and task management solution to include three new modules. These new features, which are designed to further enhance the internal employee communication process, include:
- A planogram builder;
- Enhanced language translation; and
- Detailed reporting on customer sentiment.
The Planogram Module allows retailers to create physical representations of sections of a store, a full store or a back-room communications board, and deliver these images to store managers. Using the Planogram Builder, team members then can attach information such as detailed pictures and documentation of the layout in order to provide context to each board. As a result, managers can compare their present in-store setup with the on-screen planogram to verify their stores are up to date.
Store Ops-Center also has been updated to include Google Translate, which will automatically convert store messages and content into multiple languages. This new feature will help retailers ensure all store messages and tasks are sent to employees in their first language.

Finally, a “Trending Report” has been added to help retailers collect and analyze common words used in stores. This chatter can help the entire organization make sense of in-store chatter, which will empower managers to address in-store complaints and concerns.
