MySize, a startup that enables consumers to measure anything from everyday objects to body measurements with the use of smartphone sensors, launched MySizeID.
The patent-pending measurement technology offers a solution designed to reduce the number of returns made to a brand due to wrong sizing, which could result in increased margins for online retailers.
The MySizeID app enables shoppers to create online profiles of their personal measurements. These measurements can then be applied at partner retailers. The solution combines a person’s measurements with anthropometric big data analysis and the retailers sizing charts through a proprietary algorithm, finding an accurate fit for each costumer.

The measurement technology does not rely on user photographs nor any additional hardware to operate.
MySize also features the SizeUp app, a digital tape measure designed to let users view their last measurements, enabling them to make comparisons, corrections or to calculate an area. SizeUp uses measuring tape algorithm to accurately measure objects. Users can share measurements with other users.
