Mobile associates equipped with an iPad can enhance customer service with instant access to inventory, product, competitive pricing and other retailer data; they also can, wirelessly print or email receipts. With new POS functionality from Infinite Peripherals, now they also can speed checkout, free counter space and help eliminate long lines.
A new component from Infinite provides the ability for iPad 2 users to read barcodes and magnetic data from credit cards and loyalty cards, and to read-write data via RFID. It offers optional Bluetooth and RFID capabilities and includes a rechargeable battery extender in a protective case.
