FreeShipping.com Partners With Retailers To Ease Shipping Costs

While browsing online, shoppers often strive to receive the best deal possible on the items they covet. Many consumers see free shipping as a benefit, however, few retailers can afford to offer this service at all times.

Clarus Commerce launched FreeShipping.com to provide subscribers with free shipping and 10% cash back on purchases from more than 1,000 retailers. FreeShipping.com subscribers pay more than $10 per month to receive a 90-day low-price guarantee and a price comparison tool that displays the lowest price on more than one million SKUs.

After FreeShipping.com instituted a 10% cash-back benefit in July 2014, subscribers increased their total purchase amounts by 60% and the total number of purchases they made by 70%. Within two months, subscribers who clicked through FreeShipping.com to a participating retailer’s web site completed orders with that retailer approximately 20% of the time, a 45% year-over-year increase in conversion rates.

Should a consumer not be satisfied with a product, they have access to free returns. They just need to print a shipping label and drop the package off at any FedEx return center.
