To create the best products, retail executives are constantly sharing ideas and collaborating on new concepts. However, this communication can quickly become unwieldy, with team members managing chains of emails and a variety of images and documents.
To assist in streamlining this process, FastFit360 has added a new feature called Burst to its cloud communication solution. With Burst, FastFit360 users can tap into their mobile devices to capture, organize and share videos and photos. As a result, team members can easily convey can share visuals focused on areas such as design inspiration, construction ideas, fit guidance, color, trend direction and quality defects.
The cloud-based FastFit360 technology compresses the video files into frames so the user can quickly annotate and share only the most relevant visual images with colleagues anywhere and at anytime. With Burst, users no longer need to use multiple editing programs, send emails or attachments, or wait for large files to process.

“We’re really leveraging FastFit360’s imagery to reduce our prototype iterations and to improve overall communications,” said Valerie Arnold, Director of Business Operations at outdoor retailer Patagonia. “We can annotate everything appropriately on the designs — it’s great. For the users, it’s similar to communicating with Facebook. It’s very intuitive.”
