Consumer use of mobile shopping apps is increasing rapidly, rising 247% in 2012 vs. 2011, according to research from Flurry.com. More consumers are using retailer-specific apps, up to 27% vs. 15% in 2011, but they also are accessing third-party apps, such as online marketplaces (20%).
