Several designers have made a foray into the tech space by releasing lines of wearable technology, including bracelets, Fitbits and even their own lines of Google Glasses.
Rebecca Minkoff is the latest to join the wearable tech pack. The designer is releasing a five-piece line of items during New York Fashion Week.
Through the partnership with Case-Mate, Minkoff will release an iPhone case, a studded leather bracelet that transforms into a phone charger, and a chain-link bracelet that notifies wearers when they receive a call or text.
“As a woman, I understand the stigma that goes along with having my phone out at a dinner or meeting, but the fact is that I still need to be tapped in to a few people no matter what,“ said Rebecca Minkoff in a press release. "I designed the notification bracelet with the working professional woman in mind.”

Prices will range from $40 to $120, and some pieces will be sold in Rebecca Minkoff and Nordstrom stores this month.
