Extreme Networks Releases Retail Guest Analytics

Extreme Networks has unveiled the Retail Guest Analytics solution as part of its ExtremeWireless WiNG product portfolio. The customizable platform is designed to enable retailers to better understand shoppers’ in-store habits and create personalized offers.

The solution scales up to 10 million shoppers to provide retailers with insights into shopper demographics and buying behaviors that can lead to increased revenue per customer, and can also integrate directly with the ExtremeWireless WiNG solutions.

The platform enables retailers to:

  • Provide simple guest sign-on via email, social media, SMS or loyalty credentials;

  • Create mobile-friendly, customizable splash pages;

  • Obtain in-depth shopper analytics, including demographics and preferences, and gather metrics from multiple stores; and

  • Adjust promotions to drive customer engagement and improve brand experience, while reducing costs and time-to-market.

These analytics are designed to provide brick-and-mortar retailers with the tools to compete with online retailers, including information such as the number of mobile customers that entered a store, new customers vs. repeat customers, customer duration in a store, number of customers using guest WiFi and age range/percentages.
