Delivering the best and most consistent customer experience across all devices is a goal all retailers strive towards. To achieve this goal, Oracle has implemented responsive design for customers’ web sites, in order to facilitate a seamless transition for users who like to browse with multiple devices. According to Srini Rangaswamy, Solutions Market Director for Commerce at Oracle Retail, the two key components of an effective responsive design are presentation layout and the content that appears on that layout. Rangaswamy also describes some of the advances in commerce that enable a better customer experience among all touch points, and shares an example of how Furniture Row used Oracle’s responsive design offering to its advantage.
