Mobile Shopping Rose Across Generations in 2020

Despite many people being stuck at home in 2020, where they presumably could use laptops or other large-screen devices for online purchases, mobile shopping still increased among all age groups. Millennials had the biggest jump, with 45% doing most or all of their grocery/household shopping on a mobile device in Q4 2020, up from 35% in Q2. Even Baby Boomers showed a slight increase in mobile device usage, inching up from 9% to 11% during the same time period.
