In 2018, more than half (55%) of shoppers are OK with seeing holiday themes in their mobile apps before Thanksgiving, up from 47% who were ready prior to Turkey Day in 2017. Retailers also are gearing up their holiday marketing earlier in the year: in 2017, 21% had begun holiday planning before late summer, but in 2018 that figure rose to 30%.
