Amazon will hold its second fall Prime Day event Oct. 8-9, promising Prime members steep discounts on categories including electronics, groceries, apparel, beauty, toys and appliances. The international event will be held in 18 countries around the world including, for the first time, Turkey.

Shoppers can use Rufus, Amazon’s generative AI-powered conversational shopping assistant, for help making shopping decisions, and Prime members also can browse the Holiday Shop and Toys We Love gift guides.

Amazon first introduced its fall Prime Day in 2023. The 2024 summer Prime Day event was held July 16-17 and generated more than $14 billion in U.S. sales, according to Adobe Analytics.

Prime Day deals will be available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the UK, the U.S. and Turkey. Prime members in Japan can shop on Prime Big Deal Days later in October.
