Shoptalk and Groceryshop, two of the leading conferences in the retail and grocery industries, have been acquired by Hyve Group, an organizer of international exhibitions and events, for $145 million. In 2019, Shoptalk and Groceryshop collectively hosted over 11,500 attendees, including more than 1,000 CEOs, from more than 50 countries as well as more than 880+ exhibiting and sponsoring companies
Shoptalk’s 2020 event will take place March 22-25, 2020, and Groceryshop’s 2020 conference will be Sept. 14-17, both at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. These are the fifth annual and third annual Shoptalk and Groceryshop events, respectively.
Shoptalk 2020 will break entirely new ground for large-scale retail conferences with its commitment to feature an all-women speaker lineup in 2020 and a 50/50 male/female speaker roster every year starting in 2021.

As part of the deal, Shoptalk and Groceryshop Co-Founders Anil D. Aggarwal and Simran Rekhi Aggarwal are now major shareholders of Hyve.
