A Shopping Miracle [Infographic]

The holiday shopping season appears to be promising for retailers this year; in fact, according to research from eMarketer, the U.S. retail e-Commerce holiday sales are expected to reach more than $54 billion, a 17% increase from last year. “In 2011, online spending was 14% higher than in 2010, and consumers are expected to exceed their early November spending in 2012,” as noted in this infographic.

Several retailers (31%) have already prepared their holiday promotions in advance, while 42% began promotions as early as October 2012. This infographic, courtesy of Baynote, illustrates holiday season trends in retail as well as tips to improve sales.
