DoorDash continues to add new merchants in the ramp-up to the holiday season. The latest additions to the delivery service including Asian supermarket chain H Mart and beauty brand Aveda, which join fellow newcomer Mattress Firm.
These new partners join the more 115,000 non-restaurant stores in North America now available on DoorDash, advancing the company’s mission to move beyond restaurant delivery into the broader realm of “local commerce” (although plenty of restaurants are still available on the platform).
Mattress Firm joined DoorDash in late August to offer its customers two-hour delivery of mattresses and bedding accessories from its more than 2,300 U.S. locations. Now, DoorDash customers also will be able to access groceries and everyday essentials from H Mart’s 75 U.S. stores, as well as on-demand delivery of Aveda’s plant-based, vegan beauty products from its more than 65 stores.
All three new partners also will be available on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program that offers a $0 delivery fee, reduced service fees and member-only benefits on eligible orders.
