Cross-border ecommerce has never been more challenging, with geopolitical conflicts, growing tariff exposure and increasingly stringent compliance requirements, along with rising consumer expectations for fast, reliable fulfillment.
But even with all these headwinds, cross-border is an economic powerhouse: CapitalOne Shopping Research estimated this market was worth $1.21 trillion in 2025 and that it will increase at an 8.71% annual growth rate to reach $1.84 trillion by 2030. Additionally, cross-border ecommerce accounts for approximately 18.8% of all global online sales, with 59% of global shoppers buying from retailers outside their home country.
Plotting the right course through these tricky waters requires expert insights, which will be provided during the Retail TouchPoints webinar, Navigating Global Change: What’s Defining Cross-Border Ecommerce in 2026, airing live at 2 p.m. ET on April 14.
Felice Miller, who leads supply chain, manufacturing and R&D strategy for Microsoft’s Worldwide Retail and Consumer Industry Group, will be joined by Fionn Uibh-Eachach, SVP of Supply Chain Management and Commercial Services at ESW, a leading cross-border solution provider.
The webinar will explore not only the global shifts reshaping cross-border retail but also the operational changes that will be required to adapt to these shifts in 2026. The speakers will provide practical strategies for optimizing fulfillment, strengthening compliance readiness and building operational systems that can adapt to continuous change.
