Spring, the creator commerce platform formerly called Teespring, has entered a partnership with YouTube that will allow creators to sell digital/downloadable products directly on YouTube through the Spring merchandise integration.
Now, creators can uniquely engage fandoms on the social platforms where they already spend much of their time. The partnership aims to help creators who can’t fully monetize their brands with only physical products, such as musicians, writers and photographers.
The initial merch integration between Spring and YouTube launched in 2018 to let creators make and sell merchandise directly. The updated partnership will add downloadable products to the list of supported options.
