This fall, apparel retailer Uniqlo will open its first stores in Miami and deepen its presence in Texas, by entering the Austin market for the first time and adding a store at the Houston Galleria. The retailer has only been operating in Texas since 2024, so this expansion reflects the strong reception Uniqlo has received in the Lone Star State.

“Each new store opening is a thoughtful step forward for our brand,” said Fuminori Adachi, CEO of Uniqlo USA in a statement. “As we expand, Uniqlo remains focused on opening stores in markets that matter most to our customers, where we can deliver the full Uniqlo store experience and build lasting relationships with local communities.

Store offerings will include Uniqlo’s RFID-equipped self-checkout stations, alterations services and RE.UNIQLO donation bins. Some locations also will offer UTme! customizable T-shirt and tote bag services, and RE.UNIQLO Studios that provide embroidery and repair services.

In October 2025 Uniqlo had revealed plans to open a total of 11 new U.S. stores in 2026, four in New York City and the remainder in Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Annapolis, Md. Uniqlo currently operates 78 U.S. stores and more than 2,500 stores worldwide.
