7-Eleven customers can now verbally order their Slurpees and beef jerky and receive delivery within 30 minutes via the 7NOW delivery app. The convenience store giant has launched 7Voice, available on the Google Home and Amazon Echo systems.
The 7NOW app auto-locates the customer’s location and places the order at the nearest participating 7-Eleven store, where a courier picks up the order and delivers it to the specified address. 7-Eleven can communicate the status of the order to customers with real-time tracking. No minimum order is required for the service, which is available 24/7, and the delivery fee is $3.99.
“We continuously challenge ourselves to find even more ways to offer convenience and value to our customers, when and where people need it most,” said Raghu Mahadevan, VP of Digital and Delivery at 7-Eleven in a statement. “7Voice takes 7NOW ordering from screen to voice, enabling customers to order in whatever way they prefer that is most convenient to them.”

The retailer debuted delivery services in 2017 with a test of the app-based service at select stores in Dallas. 7NOW has made more than one million deliveries and is available in 34 major metropolitan areas with more than 200 cities, serving more than 30 million households.
