A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts has announced that its parent company Nicole Crafts LLC has acquired Blitsy, an e-Commerce arts and crafts retailer. As part of the investment, A.C. Moore also has secured an exclusive partnership with Zibbet, a peer-to-peer marketplace that supports more than 50,000 independent creatives.

The acquisition positions A.C. Moore to combine its in-store shopping experience with Blitsy’s e-Commerce capabilities, to provide an omnichannel experience with its relaunch of acmoore.com in 2018. A.C. Moore currently operates 135 stores across the East Coast and has headquarters in New Jersey and China.

“These dynamic additions to our company can rapidly accelerate adoption of our proprietary product across a global audience of creative consumers and position our family as industry leaders among arts and crafts enthusiasts everywhere,” said Anthony Piperno, Owner and Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer at A.C. Moore in a statement.
