Lilysilk, the China-based ecommerce silk retailer, is expanding to Europe with a brick-and-mortar location in Munich, Germany.
The store, located in the Oberpollinger department store, features silk bedding and home textiles, women’s apparel, loungewear and accessories as well as cashmere and wool pieces, according to a news release.
Lilysilk selected Germany after locals requested a store there following the opening of Lilysilk’s first brock-and-mortar location in New York City’s Meatpacking District in 2025. Germany is an established market and was a “natural choice” for the company’s first store in Europe, giving customers an opportunity to see products in-person.
The Munich store’s July 17 opening invited content creators and influencers to experience the space and the curated collection.
