Scheels Integrates Service Shop For Faster Transactions

Published: October 2, 2017

Scheels, a sporting goods retailer, has integrated the BTM Global Service Shop, which is designed to help associates complete transactions faster and provide a smoother, more efficient experience.

The Scheels in-house application will now interface with the Oracle Retail Point-of-Service system (ORPOS), allowing associates to perform a single scan to retrieve a suspended transaction for the total invoice. The platform enables Scheels to process transactions more efficiently and accurately while maintaining and tracking accountability between the in-house system and ORPOS.

The project is currently live across all of Scheels’ 26 stores in 11 states.
