Sustainable fashion retailer Eileen Fisher will deploy the Aptos ONE POS platform in its more than 50 North American stores. The cloud-based, mobile-first solution is designed to provide more personal, informed and frictionless interactions in-store, along with real-time inventory and data synchronization across POS, ecommerce and fulfillment, with unified promotions and customer profiles to support BOPIS, ship-from-store and endless aisle functionalities.
“Aptos ONE’s intuitive interface and real-time integrations simplify complex tasks, freeing our associates to focus on what they do best: creating authentic relationships with customers,” said Lori Harmon, Director of Consumer Systems at Eileen Fisher in a statement. “Whether looking up loyalty points or purchase history, managing real-time inventory or placing endless aisle or preorders, the result is high-touch service delivered from a single mobile device.”
Improved cohesion between in-store and online touch points will be a key advantage of the new solution, she added, noting that with the Aptos ONE POS and Eileen Fisher’s ecommerce platform accessing the same payment provider and CRM system, the retailer can offer a more seamless shopping journey.
The Aptos solution’s scalability is based on a configurable (versus custom-coded) model designed to accelerate feature delivery, lower TCO and support growth across formats, geographies and new capabilities. The cloud-native, API-first architecture also can reduce technical debt and enable faster enhancements. In January 2025 The Buckle adopted the Aptos ONE POS system.
Eileen Fisher clothes are designed to be part of a circular manufacturing model. The company starts with sustainable materials and then takes back its clothes to be resold through its Renew program. Good-as-new pieces are resold at eileenfisherrenew.com, in two Eileen Fisher Renew stores and in select Eileen Fisher stores nationwide. In addition to its own stores and sites, Eileen Fisher apparel is sold in more than 400 department and specialty stores globally.
