PetSmart has introduced monthly PetSmart’s Birthday + Gotcha Bash events at stores nationwide, giving pets and pet parents an opportunity to celebrate their important milestones in style. Events will include free treats, games and a $5 off birthday coupon for attendees.
Additionally, now through Oct. 14, 2025, pet parents can enter to win a one-of-a-kind celebration planned by pet party expert Amanda Shaw of the Barkday Planner. In addition to this grand prize, five runner-up winners will receive 250,000 PetSmart Treats Rewards Points worth $500 in savings.
“Every pet deserves to be celebrated, especially on their birthday or gotcha day,” said Bradley Breuer, VP of Marketing at PetSmart in a statement. “We’re excited to make every pet feel like the guest of honor.”
And if you really want to mark the day in style, you can take your pet for a trip on Bark Air, the airline for dogs that added new routes in June 2024.

In October 2024 PetSmart added Grubhub to its delivery options, joining Instacart and Uber Eats, and in January 2025 PetSmart deployed inventory management and digital fulfillment solutions from GreyOrange.
