Belk will open five additional Belk Outlet locations as part of a new concept launched at the start of 2023. Each Belk Outlet stocks discounted items from larger Belk stores across the retailer’s footprint, including new products as well as high-end and designer brands the locations may not have carried in the past.
The first Belk Outlet concept store opened in Greenville, Tenn. on Jan. 30. Overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers led to plans for the following openings:
- Laurens, S.C. on March 30;
- Cedar Bluff, Va. on March 30;
- Russellville, Ark. On March 30;
- Clarksville, Tenn. on April 4; and
- Douglasville, Ga. on April 4.
Each of the new locations will hold grand opening events on April 15. The festivities will include ribbon-cutting ceremonies and gift cards valued at up to $500 for the first 200 customers. There also will be music and treats for customers to enjoy as they explore the store.
