Massivit Launches Life-Sized 3D Printer To Create Personalized Displays

Published: June 20, 2017

Massivit 3D has launched a 3D printing solution designed to create personalized and localized window displays, point-of-purchase (POP) stands, store centerpieces and visual merchandising for retailers.

The Massivit 1800 3D Printer can produce larger-than-life high-quality 3D pieces that are designed to enable retailers to differentiate their offer and enhance how they capture and maintain customers’ attention.

Massivit has patented a Gel Dispensing Printing (GDP) technology designed to balance movement speed, curing speed, unique material properties and smart support algorithms, enabling the printing of super-sized objects at super-fast speeds.

The printer includes:

  • Touchscreen printer control;

  • A vacuum print table with printing liner;

  • Hollow lightweight products to minimize cost of transportation and handling;

  • Minimal waste additive process;

  • No support structures required, eliminating post-printing clean-up; and

  • Low energy consumption (LED) UV curing.

The printer enables retailers and marketers to cost-effectively elevate applications to a new dimension with maximum impact, and includes optional dual-object printing so it can print two different objects in parallel to each other.
