Pet Supplies Plus has partnered with Instacart for deliveries in as fast as one hour from its 700+ stores across the country. The agreement also covers the 20+ Wag N’ Wash stores, the self-wash, grooming and natural pet food franchise that’s a sister brand to Pet Supplies Plus. The retailer had added a Grubhub delivery option in January 2025, and now, Instacart customers will be able to access more than 11,000 Pet Supplies Plus products across 400 brands.
“We know the important role pets play in people’s lives, which is why we’re excited to expand our pet retail footprint and welcome the Pet Supplies Plus group to Instacart,” said Blake Wallace, VP of Retail Partnerships at Instacart in a statement.
Instacart’s current ambitions go far beyond its historical role in grocery delivery, with a strong focus on enhancing the store shopping experience, and it also has been partnering with a wide range of retailers in numerous verticals. Instacart has been a key player in retail media as well as smart shopping carts, its AI-powered Caper Carts.
Several of the major U.S. pet retailers have established delivery partnerships with multiple platforms. For example, Petco enhanced its delivery offerings with DoorDash in August 2023 and partnered with Uber Eats for delivery in March 2025. In April 2023 PetSmart partnered with Uber Eats for delivery, followed by a May 2023 expansion of Instacart deliveries from its nearly 1,500 U.S. stores.
