Honoring Steve Jobs: A Tech And Retail Visionary

Retail TouchPoints would like to acknowledge the passing of retail pioneer Steve Jobs. He died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at the age of 56.

During his time with Apple, Jobs worked to create groundbreaking technology that would change retail forever. The iPhone and iPad set the standard for efficient yet engaging tools that would enhance the in-store and online shopping experience.

The Apple Store also was the first brick-and-mortar location to leverage line-busting strategies via the iPod Touch, making the brand not only an innovator of technology, but also a leader in the retail space.
