David’s Bridal Engages Blushing Brides With IBM

U.S. couples who were married in 2013 spent approximately $29,858 on their weddings, according to research from XO Group. With brides spending more money to create the perfect wedding, they also are spending more on their gowns. Results from the XO Group survey indicated that the average cost of a wedding dress was $1,281. 

David’sBridal is using e-Commerce to better engage brides-to-be and boost overall sales. Using the IBM e-Commerce Solution, David’s Bridal can create immersive brand experiences, encouraging consumers spend more time on the site and visit more pages. Since its implementation, David’s Bridal has seen a 20% growth in traffic year over year, and has seen pages-per-visit increase from approximately 20 to about 30.
