DoorDash is continuing to expand its operations through new partnerships, with Lush Cosmetics and Victoria’s Secret, as well as an enhanced customer experience that includes new browsing and delivery features designed to offer a more frictionless shopping experience.
Lush Cosmetics’ fresh, handmade cosmetics will be available for on-demand delivery on the DoorDash app. Shoppers will be able to ship everything from bath bombs to gift sets from more than 250 Lush stores in the U.S. and Canada. The Victoria’s Secret partnership will include a selection ranging from lingerie to fragrances and cover hundreds of stores in the U.S.
Additionally, shoppers will gain access to new and updated features as well as new partners on the DoorDash platform. Upgrades include:
- More delivery options aimed at helping shoppers save money by scheduling ahead with delivery windows or having their essentials delivered faster with express delivery;
- An optimized search and discovery experience within specific retailers’ stores, including more relevant in-stock options; and
- Frictionless communications to help let shoppers know when they will be receiving the “next-best” item, including the option to seamlessly communicate with DoorDash if a change or swap is required.
“Our mission is to bring consumers all the best of their neighborhoods to their doorstep, including retail, grocery, convenience and alcohol items, at low cost while saving them time,” said Fuad Hannon, VP of New Verticals at DoorDash in a statement. “Features such as express delivery ensure that our customers get essentials like over-the-counter medicine quickly while enhanced search lets them easily find travel necessities for that last-minute weekend trip. We’re proud to develop these features in partnership with retailers as consumers crave convenience, alongside speed and selection.”
