Key takeaways:

  • Erin Magee joins as Skims’ first-ever Chief Design Officer after more than two decades at Supreme.
  • Skims promoted Kim Schraub to Chief Brand Officer, the brand’s first-ever appointment to that title.
  • Both appointments deepen the brand’s creative leadership as Skims continues expanding into new categories and global markets.

Skims, the intimate apparel brand co-founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, announced two leadership appointments this week, promoting Kim Schraub to Chief Brand Officer and hiring Erin Magee as Chief Design Officer. Both roles are firsts for the brand.

Magee Joins from Supreme as First Chief Design Officer

Magee arrives at Skims with more than 20 years of experience building fashion brands. She spent over two decades at Supreme, most recently as Chief Creative Officer, where she led creative vision, design and product strategy across the brand’s apparel, accessories and collaborations. In 2007, Magee also founded MadeMe, a women’s brand centered on individuality and youth culture.

Magee will oversee design and creative product direction as the underwear, loungewear and shapewear brand expands across categories and markets.

“Erin brings an unparalleled creative vision and a proven ability to build brands that transcend fashion and become cultural touchstones,” said Grede, Skims CEO and Co-Founder, in a statement. “She’s exactly the right person to lead Skims into its next era.”

Kardashian, Skims Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder, said she has long admired Magee’s work.

“The way she approaches design with such a strong point of view while staying completely connected to her audience is something I deeply respect,” Kardashian said in a statement.

Magee said she was drawn to Skims’ balance of personal and universal appeal.

“Skims has done something rare, built a brand that is both deeply personal and universal,” Magee said in a statement. “I look forward to working alongside this talented team to push the creative boundaries of the brand.”

Supreme, the much followed streetwear brand, has had several ownership changes in the past few years. VF Corporation originally acquired Supreme in late 2020 for $2.1 billion before selling the brand to EssilorLuxottica in October 2024 for $1.5 billion.

Schraub Elevated After Leading Creative Vision Since Founding

Schraub has been with Skims since before the brand launched, leading design and creative direction across product, packaging and campaigns as Creative Director. In her new role, she will oversee retail, campaigns, collaborations and storytelling in addition to her existing creative responsibilities.

“Kim has been with us since before Skims existed. She helped turn an idea into a brand that people genuinely love,” Kardashian said in a statement.

Grede credited Schraub’s ability to translate the brand’s identity into tangible creative work.

“Kim Schraub is one of the most talented creatives I’ve had the privilege of working with,” Grede said in a statement. “Elevating her into the Chief Brand Officer role is the natural evolution of the creative leadership she has always provided.”

Schraub’s career spans more than 25 years in fashion and lifestyle brand-building. She began at Abercrombie & Fitch from 1997 to 2002, leading design across Abercrombie, Hollister and kids’ lines.

She later spent a decade at Victoria’s Secret PINK as EVP, Design and Concept, before serving as Brand Director at Yeezy from 2012 to 2019, where she led design and brand direction for the brand’s adidas partnership. Schraub joined Skims in 2019 as Creative Director.

Skims raised $225 million to fuel its brick-and-mortar expansion last year. The company opened its first European flagship in London in July 2026 and has plans to have a total of 55 stores by the end of 2026. By the end of 2027, Skims aims to operate 100 stores.
