Dollar Shave Club has expanded into the women’s grooming category with razors, handles and shaving aids powered by hydrating ingredients, all priced from $5 to $10 and available from Dollar Shave Club’s DTC site and on Amazon.
“For over a decade, we’ve cut out the unnecessary fluff that’s been upsold to dudes,” said Larry Bodner, CEO at Dollar Shave Club in a statement. “Now, we’re excited to be doing the exact same thing for women. We aren’t here to tell you how to shave, where to shave or even if you should shave. That’s your business. Our business is providing high-performance tools that get the job done at a price that respects your wallet.”
The new women’s line features design elements specifically for body shaving, including razor handles optimized for various hand positions in slippery showers as well as a signature blend of hydrating ingredients such as argan oil, hyaluronic acid and shea. Shower hangers with adhesive backs are designed to keep blades high and dry. A fully loaded starter set, including a handle, the shower hanger, six blades, a six-ounce sugar scrub and eight-ounce shave oil, is priced at $19.99.
