VR solutions provider InContext Solutions has appointed analytics expert David Rich as its new Executive Chairman. Rich will play a key role in expanding the company’s reach and strategic vision of enhancing the shopper experience through VR and big data.
Rich is currently Chairman and CEO of DBR & Associates, an independent consulting and advisory firm. Prior to DBR, he was Executive Chairman and CEO of Revolution Analytics, a predictive analytics tools provider that was acquired by Microsoft in 2015.
“David’s expertise and knowledge of analytics and business strategy will help drive our mission to create more impactful, relevant shopping experiences for consumers — ultimately increasing sales and profitability for the retailers and brands that use our VR technology,” said Mark Hardy, CEO of InContext Solutions in a statement. “We are excited to have him on board and look forward to working together.”
