Target is increasing its appeal for Apple adherents by more than doubling the number of Apple at Target shop-in-shops in time for the holidays. The retailer is expanding these in-store locations from 17 to 36 stores and will offer in-demand items including the iPhone 13 Pro, Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods, the HomePod mini and Apple TV.
The shop-in-shops devote twice the space to Apple products than a typical Target store, and they are staffed with Apple-trained Target Tech Consultants.
“Guest response has been incredible since the first locations opened in February 2021, and now even more guests can experience the Apple excitement,” a Target spokesperson said in a statement.
Nine of the new Apple at Target shops are in Texas, seven in Florida and three in Minnesota — Target’s home state. The entire Apple at Target assortment also is available at Target.com.

For the holiday season Target also is adding items to heyday, its own branded line of electronics. The retailer is introducing 150 new, colorful products including wireless headphones and speakers, plus work-from-home items such as ring lights and keyboards. Most heyday items are priced at $29.99 or less.
Target is betting on other well-known names to draw holiday shoppers into its stores: in August 2021, the retailer announced plans to triple the number of Disney shop-in-shops for the holidays.
