Books-A-Million will leverage its 231 stores to offer same- and next-day delivery using the white label Walmart GoLocal service, which Walmart introduced in August 2021. In the coming weeks, Books-A-Million will roll out the service nationwide, beginning in the Southeast and Midwest markets.

Orders placed before 3 p.m. will be delivered that same day, with orders placed after that delivered the following day. The service is available for tens of thousands of products that are in-stock at nearby stores, including books, toys, games and collectibles.

“Utilizing all of our stores nationwide for online delivery and fulfillment allows us to offer a fast, convenient and frictionless delivery option for our customers and is essential to our omnichannel transformation,” said Olivia McDaniel, VP of Marketing at Books-A-Million in a statement. “As retail and consumer preferences continue to evolve, we’re thrilled to be bringing our customers this added convenience and serve them in new ways.”

“We’re eager to hear customer feedback and are excited to enhance the ecommerce shopping experience,” said Pete Zophy, SVP of Ecommerce at Books-A-Million in a statement. “Ahead of the holidays, there’s no better time to introduce this offering and make it easier than ever for our customers to shop with us.”
