The Vitamin Shoppe has launched a new partnership with Uber Eats to expand its same-day delivery capabilities. Consumers will be able to order from approximately 700 Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements locations across the U.S. using the Uber Eats app. The health and wellness retailer already has inventory available on DoorDash and Instacart.
Uber Eats customers will be able to add their Healthy Awards information to all orders so that they can earn cash back rewards from Vitamin Shoppe. In addition, Uber One members will benefit from a $0 delivery fee and up to 10% off eligible orders valued at $15 or more. Through May 31, 2024, consumers can use the code VITAMIN50 to receive 50% off orders of $60 or more, saving a maximum of $40.
“Nutrition needs are personal, and often urgent,” said Beryl Sanders, Director of U.S. Grocery and Retail Partnerships at Uber in a statement. “That’s one of the reasons we’re most excited to bring The Vitamin Shoppe onto Uber Eats to help consumers find what they need on the app with a few taps — from vitamins and supplements to sports nutrition and on-the-go healthy snacks and drinks — and have it delivered to their doorsteps within hours, if not minutes.”
Vitamin Shoppe is the first U.S. national nutritional supplement retailer to partner with Uber Eats, which has been expanding beyond food deliveries in partnerships with retailers including Big Lots, Party City and Staples.
“The Vitamin Shoppe is a growth-focused business with a digital-first mindset that is continuously transforming the way we serve our customers, by reaching them where and when they want to shop,” said Muriel Gonzalez, President of The Vitamin Shoppe in a press release. “On-demand, same-day delivery from our stores via Uber Eats provides a fast and convenient way for our customers to access their favorite health and wellness products.”
