  • Costco expanded its delivery partnership with Uber Eats to 47 states, up from 17, making nearly 600 warehouses available for on-demand and scheduled delivery.
  • The companies are offering new perks tied to the expansion, including discounted Uber One memberships, discounted Uber gift cards and a promotion for consumers who buy a Costco membership through the app.

Costco and Uber Technologies are expanding their delivery partnership, bringing Uber Eats access to Costco warehouses in 47 states, up from 17. The companies said Tuesday that nearly 600 Costco locations are now live on the platform, giving millions of additional members the option to have groceries and household items delivered to their door.

The expansion covers both on-demand and scheduled delivery, according to a press release. Costco members will be able to order fresh produce, bulk groceries, household essentials and other warehouse staples through the Uber Eats app, with what the companies described as Costco’s usual member pricing intact.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Costco nationwide, giving Costco members more ways to shop and bringing the brand’s storied selection and value to more consumers,” said Andrew Macdonald, President and CEO at Uber, in a statement. “Costco is one of the largest and most trusted retailers in the country for good reason, and our nationwide partnership demonstrates the scale and opportunity Uber can bring to retailers looking to meet more of consumers’ everyday shopping needs.”

The nationwide rollout builds on an existing global partnership between the two companies. Costco is already available on Uber Eats outside the U.S. in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, France and Spain.

New Perks Tied to the Expansion

Alongside the wider rollout, Uber and Costco are introducing several member incentives. Eligible Costco members can get 50% off an annual Uber One membership for the first year, followed by a 20% discount in following years. Uber and Uber Eats gift cards will also be sold at participating Costco warehouses and on Costco.com for a limited time, priced at $79.99 for $100 of value.

The companies are also letting shoppers buy a Costco membership directly through Uber Eats, a move that comes with a 30% discount on the buyer’s first eligible order. Separately, Uber One members now receive no Uber fees on eligible grocery and retail orders over $60 at select stores, part of a broader push by Uber to make its subscription service more attractive for everyday shopping.

Terms and restrictions apply to each of the offers, and Uber directed customers to the app for full details.

Costco’s Sales Momentum

The delivery expansion arrives as Costco reports continued sales growth. The company posted net sales of $23.7 billion in August, up 9.9% year over year from $21.56 billion, according to Costco’s most recent sales report.

For the full 52-week fiscal year ended August 30, the company’s net sales reached $297.3 billion, up 10.2% from $269.9 billion in fiscal 2025.

Comparable sales for the fiscal year rose 8.4% companywide, with digitally enabled sales, a category that includes online and app-based orders, up 20.9%. Costco noted that a later Labor Day this year slightly weighed on August’s results, cutting total and comparable sales by just under 75 basis points.

Costco currently operates 939 warehouses worldwide, including 647 in the United States and Puerto Rico, according to the company’s latest disclosure.
