Chicago-based software company Accuvia Software Group (ASG) has acquired software assets from Level 10 LLC that include a full retail POS software suite. As part of the transaction, Accuvia will retain Level 10’s existing development team in the U.S. and the offshore development team based in Eastern Europe.
The transaction is limited to the software assets, which include a Microsoft Windows-based POS solution and an iOS-based mobile POS platform. According to Accuvia CEO Michael Hess, the company is planning an aggressive software roadmap to build the solution further and expand the features it offers to clients.
“We believe the existing software clients will be well served with the new management team and focus at Accuvia Software Group”, said John Pruban, President of Level 10 in a statement. “It was important for us to ensure the clients using the software today have a good home well into the future. The ASG management team has an outstanding track record of supporting their clients.”
