True Fit, a Massachusetts-based startup that provides an online fit recommendation engine for apparel and footwear, has raised $55 million in Series C financing. The round was led by Georgian Partners, with participation from existing investors Jump Capital, Signal Peak Ventures, Intel Capital and new investor Cross Creek Capital.
The company plans to use the funding to support the shift in retail toward more personalized, one-to-one experiences. In a blog post announcing the Series C round, the company said the funds will be to used to:
- Further develop True Fit’s personalized style, fit and analytics solutions;
- Enhance its AI data platform to include more robust open APIs and AI-driven integrations; and
- Expand to global markets in South America and Asia.
