Theory has become the latest contemporary fashion brand to join the Resell on Poshmark program, a one-tap resale experience embedded directly into retailers’ sites that allows customers to instantly list past purchases on Poshmark with pre-filled details.
Other brands already participating in the program include Reformation, Sezane, Farm Rio, Everlane, Mango, Roller Rabbit, For Love & Lemons as well as Loop Returns, a partnership that allows customers to easily resell products when they’ve missed the return window.

The goal is to remove the friction of listing items for sale on Poshmark, thereby making it easier for consumers to participate in the growing resale market.
Here’s how it works: After a customer is done enjoying their purchase from one of Poshmark’s partner retailers, they can simply revisit their order within the brand’s website and click the “Resell on Poshmark” button. The details of the pre-loved item will automatically populate in a Poshmark listing that can then be published for sale.
“Our ‘Resell on Poshmark’ program directly addresses one of the biggest points of friction in resale: the time it takes to list an item,” says Poshmark’s Chief Revenue Officer Elizabeth von der Goltz in a statement. “The future of fashion is circular, and our goal is to make participation effortless. We are making the transition from shopper to seller instantaneous. This deepens our relationships with key brands and solidifies Poshmark’s position as essential in a truly circular fashion economy.”
