Artisan Expands Mobile Experience Management Platform

Published: October 1, 2013

Mobile application and platform builder Artisan Mobile added two products — Artisan Analyze and Artisan Personalize — to its Mobile Experience Management (MEM) platform. Artisan made the announcement at the Shop.org Annual Summit.

Artisan’s integrated MEM platform is designed to allow marketers and product managers to analyze, test and personalize native mobile apps without writing code or resubmitting to mobile app stores, according to company officials.

Features of Artisan Analyze include:

  • Analytic reporting and segmentation;
  • Auto event collection;
  • A Goal Builder tool that enables marketers to build funnels and objectives to measure within the app;
  • Event tagging; and
  • Recommendation Engine, which provides alerts and suggestions for improvement in such areas as app performance.

Features of Artisan Personalize include:

  • Advanced segmentation, which supports the creation of specific audience segments based on age, gender, location and behavioral patterns;
  • Targeted content; and
  • Power Hooks, which allow business users to modify the app without needing to re-write code.

“Native mobile apps represent a huge revenue opportunity, but continuous re-programming or using the limited point solutions on the market today is cumbersome at best,” said Bob Moul, CEO of Artisan Mobile.“Bottom line, companies are not even close to realizing the results that are possible from the mobile channel.”

Artisan Analyze and Artisan Personalize are integrated on the platform with Artisan Optimize, a solution that enables real-time A/B testing of existing mobile apps.
