Manhattan Associates To Develop Microsoft 8 Integration Tool

Manhattan Associates announced plans to develop Mobile Shipment Manager for Manhattan SCALE, a tool that will provide visibility into supply chain shipments and allows one-touch management access via Windows 8-enabled devices. The Manhattan SCALE solution is built on the Microsoft.NET development platform and offers real-time desktop dashboards, easy-to-use interface and single sign-on capabilities among others.

“Microsoft app developers have always provided rich functionality and value for our shared customers, and Windows 8 gives them the platform to deliver,” said John Richards, Senior Director of Windows Business Development, in a Manhattan Associates press release. “The re-imagining of Windows keeps our app developers ahead of the competition and gives our shared customers flexibility and choice.”
