Toshiba Designs Frictionless Experience To Deliver Unique ‘Moments That Inspire’

At the 2020 NRF Big Show, Toshiba displayed a full suite of solutions designed to create the ultimate “frictionless experience,” which includes technologies such as customer inventory tracking, AI-driven computer vision designed for loss prevention and multi-layered smart shelves. Fredrik Carlegren, Executive Director of Global Marketing at Toshiba, explains how the company’s TCx Elevate Digital Commerce Platform applies microservices to support the responsiveness needed to manage the entire architecture.
