Fashion brands Ann Taylor and Loft are headed back to Canada via a series of shop-in-shops at Hudson’s Bay stores across the country. The partnership was developed by brand management firm Centric Brands and will mark the first time either brand has been available in Canada since 2020.
Since Sept. 24, Hudson’s Bay locations have exclusively hosted 30 shop-in-shops featuring an Ann Taylor collection and 60 featuring Loft. Both collections also will be available online via TheBay.com.
“Ann Taylor and Loft are two incredible, well-known brands with a loyal following in Canada,” said Deirdre FitzGerald, President of International for KnitWell Group, the company that operates the Ann Taylor and Loft brands, in a statement. “Together, we are creating a powerful new way to bring these brands to life and engage with new and existing customers.”
The two shop-in-shop concepts will feature the unique look and feel of each brand, with Ann Taylor showcasing trend-right workwear and iconic silhouettes, while the Loft assortment will focus on fun, feminine fashions.

As the retail landscape evolves, it’s crucial for retailers to adapt to customer preferences, and we’re confident that this collaboration will deliver against the demands of our shopper.”
