The National Retail Federation is giving retail employees the opportunity to enhance their careers with higher education. Through a collaboration with the University of Phoenix, the NRF will award 20 full-tuition Dream BIG Scholarships to retail and restaurant employees.
Applications are now open through March 31, 2016, and are available to any part-time or full-time store, restaurant, distribution center or corporate office retail workers, including store managers, supply chain specialists, HR managers and loss prevention supervisors. The program is flexible enough that recipients can continue to work while pursuing their degree.
Last year, 20 recipients won a full-tuition scholarship; 10 of them were surprised with the news at work. For more information on the Dream BIG Scholarship and how to apply, click here.
