Traitify, a customer personalization provider, has raised $4 million in Series A funding to expand its personality API technology.
The funding round was led by Heritage Capital, Charles “Chip” Morris, Thomas Hitchner and other individual investors.
Traitify has raised more than $8 million to date, which will be used to hire new employees and seek out partners interested in personality-based recommendations for customers. The funding also will support the expansion of the company’s personality API to business and app developers.

The personalization technology combines big data and psychology to collect observable patterns in order to predict customer behavior and preferences.
