Iterable, a provider of email marketing automation solutions for e-Commerce companies, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding.
The financing round was led by Merus Capital, 500 Startups, 605 Ventures, AngelList, TEC Angel Fund and China Rock. Iterable will use the money to expand its business and develop new features, such as push notifications and SMS support.
“Our vision is to expand beyond email to create a best-in-class multichannel marketing platform that is both easy for engineers to implement and a joy for marketers to use,” said Justin Zhu, CEO of Iterable. “We are excited for the additional funding, as it will help us to add more talented engineers and salespeople to our team. Plus it will enable us to build out our mobile marketing strategy.”
