GameQuestDirect.com
, a video game eTailer, replaced multiple e-Commerce systems with a single, all-in-one e-Commerce technology platform from GoECart. The GoECart 360 suite decreased costs by 60% and increased video game order volume by 40%, according to a GoECart press release.

Previously the gaming eTailer was using three separate systems to run multi-channel retail operations: a standalone e-Commerce solution, an independent Order Management System (OMS), and shipping software. This strategy relied on outdated batch processes and, as the retailer grew, became cumbersome, expensive and restrictive.

GameQuestDirect spent approximately six months researching e-Commerce and OMS vendors, according to Margaret Kim, Director of Marketing at GameQuestDirect.com. “From managing inventory to processing orders to assisting customers across 15-plus sales channels, GoECart 360 has immensely improved our day-to-day operations.”

The eTailer’s multiple sales channels include GameQuestDirect.com as well as online marketplaces such as Amazon.com, eBay and Buy.com. Now inventory, orders, fulfillment details and the complete product catalog are syndicated and synchronized seamlessly across all channels via the single GoECart 360 back end, according to the release.

In addition, with the GoECart SaaS delivery model, the eTailer no longer re-enters data into multiple systems, spends time rectifying inconsistent or inaccurate data, or waits for batch updates.
