Convenience store chain Yesway is continuing its aggressive U.S. expansion by opening five new Allsup’s stores in New Mexico and Texas. In October 2024, the company announced the opening of eight new locations across New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas within a six-month period.
These new stores each span 6,277 square feet and operate 24 hours a day, offering a variety of private label products, including fresh bread, milk and eggs, as well as Allsup’s “famous” burritos. Most locations also feature a beer cave, Western Union services, ATMs, and cryptocurrency and digital currency ATMs. The three Texas stores are located in Las Cruces, Lubbock, and Mount Vernon, while the two New Mexico stores are in Farmington and Las Cruces.
“We could not have achieved this swift pace of growth in 2024 without the relentless efforts and exceptional dedication of our talented teams,” said Thomas Brown, Chief Real Estate Officer at Yesway in a statement. “Their hard work and commitment have been instrumental in reaching this milestone. We look forward to serving our newest customers in New Mexico and Texas in 2025 and establishing ourselves as trusted members of their communities.”
