Primark plans to put even more time and money into its U.S. expansion in 2025. The apparel and accessories retailer has signed five new leases for stores throughout the Southern and Midwest U.S., after already investing more than $90 million in 2024.

The retailer plans to open stores in:

  • Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis, Ind.;
  • Dolphin Mall in Miami;
  • Grapevine Mills in Dallas;
  • Gurnee Mills in Chicago; and
  • Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Mich.

In addition to the five new leases, Primark recently announced plans to open its first New York City flagship store at the new Penn District in Herald Square and opened two new stores — one at Queens Center in Elmhurst, NY and one at La Plaza in McAllen, Texas — just in time for the holiday shopping season. This brings the retailer’s total U.S. store count to 29 across 12 states. Additionally, the retailer opened its first distribution center in Jacksonville, Fla., this past February.

“Now, more than ever, Americans are seeking value,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark U.S. in a statement. “Our ongoing expansion across the country represents our commitment to bringing Primark’s unique combination of quality products at affordable prices to as many American shoppers as possible. We are incredibly proud of the growth we’ve achieved this year and excited for what’s to come in 2025 and beyond.”
